Danielle Vincent
Toronto and Oakville based artist Danielle Vincent’s practice concerns the in-between spaces found in everyday life. Her paintings explore the search for certainty and stability in the unknown. Vincent encourages the viewer to create their own narrative from these glimpses into transitional moments. Through realistic renderings of her subjects and scenes, Vincent estranges the viewer from a sense of familiarity and invites the viewer into her liminal spaces to reflect on their thoughts about in-betweenness.
Danielle Vincent will graduate in 2024 with an Honours BFA in Drawing and Painting from OCAD. Vincent has exhibited her work across Ontario and has been awarded Juror’s Choice and Best In Show in multiple exhibitions.
